Life is like a journey, a beautiful journey. But few enjoy it. Not many know the purpose of the journey. Somehow everyone will complete the journey. Some with satisfied faces and many with unsatisfied faces. If you won’t plan your journey, circumstances will plan it for you. That may not be acceptable always. You will be forced to adjust with it. So it’s time to plan your own future i.e.; to set your own goals. Unless you know where to go you can’t plan anything.
Setting goals may be easy but working towards and achieving it is not as simple as many thinks. Many thinkers have come up with many strategies. But not many are successful in achieving their goals; the root cause is being the lack of consistency. Here is a simple way to achieve your goal.
1. Identify your goal
2. Write your goal in a book or personal dairy
3. Identify the step by step procedures to achieve your goal
4. Break down those procedures to day to day actions
5. Every day visualize, you achieving the goal and feel the joy and satisfaction of achieving the goal. This will help you in tuning all your activities towards achieving the goal
6. Every morning read out your goal and in the evening analyze what you have done on that particular day towards your goal.
7. Be consistent in doing the self appraisal and try to improve every day.
