I stood there looking at the cross

A cold wind that touched me gently

The purity that held me in drapes

Diamonds that shone through its cuts finely

Alas! I felt I looked pretty

I closed my eyes in prayer

As I felt Gods will being in power

I had walked a mile holding his

Hand / He smiled happily

He knew he had to let go this once

And so he was ready to do so, peacefully

I followed his eyes across the room

Getting lost into those tiny beads

My heart skipped to musical beats

As I felt the stares that filled the room

Yet he stood there calmly

It all seemed as perfect as destiny

I seemed to have reached even before

I could freeze my steps to admire

Tears filled as I thought

This was indeed ‘the beauty of God’s blessing’

For -I had put up a calm fight

I knew the value of what I would be missing

If he didn’t stand beside me

If life had another truth so bare..

As chants filled the air

And songs added to the flair

I was lost in it like always

I felt accord with it in all ways

I focused at the cross again

Seeing it had finally happened

Then I realized a rare truth

“I had my whole world in my hand”

I was crowned and tied in a knot

My commitment for which I sought

For as it lay on my head

I saw the last wink of acceptance

So many witnessed it and so did they

Their tears that showed I was their life

For I was washed in their blood

And brought in their values

Tensions that crept their faces

Given a chance she would have flood

For she is the good old wife

I walked back happily

To be greeted by the smiles

Of all whom I loved so deeply

Flashes took away every second

Life’s so turned precious memories

Registered in my mind

I walked amidst the newly bond

Sparkling like a star

Proudly as I still held his hand

Finding my life at par

Being united with them

That I secretly loved and cared

Holding their raw gem

I silently promised

“I’ll only be his”

N then the heavens poured

We all believed we had been blessed

For our Life had nothing more to miss

Than this heavenly bliss…..

The days are gone but the remembrances still spiralling around me
The life is gone but the remembrance is with me
Sandwiched with gladness and poignant feelings
The ebb and flow of life is still a mystery to me
The mystery of a child standing in front of the corridor of the world
Wondering what to do..
That’s life.......
It can`t be measurable
But still there is something stuck with me
The throbbing of pain in the pertrurbance of the life
Wondering what to do
The innocence at the same time guilt
That prevents me to get into the world...
But the heart of the child lost from me
And waiting for it to come.....

Understanding Beloved Women...

We don't understand Women : Their "Whatever" "Anything" OR "You Decide"

1 . (Whatever)

Men: What should we have for dinner?
Women: Whatever..
Men: Why don't we have Mexican?
Women: No not Mexican, the last time i got pimples on my face
Men: Alright, why don't we have Szechwan cuisine
Women: Yesterday we ate Szechwan, today too?
Men: Hmm..... I suggest we have seafood
Women: Seafood is not good, I got diarrhea
Men: Then what do you suggest?
Women : Whatever..

2. (Anything)

Men: So what should we do now?
Women: Anything
Men: How about watching a movie? It's been a long time
Women: Watching movie is no good, it's a waste of time
Men: How about we go for bowling, or some exercises?
Women: Exercise on such a hot day?
Men: Then find a cafe and have a drink
Women: I am off caffeine
Men: Then what do you suggest?
Women: Anything

3. (You decide)

Men: Then do we just go home?
Women: You decide
Men: Let's take the bus, I will accompany you
Women: The bus is dirty and crowded.
Men: OK; we will take a cab
Women: Not worth it... for such a short distance
Men: All right, then we can walk. We can enjoy the weather
Women: I am hungry, can't walk.
Men: Then what do you suggest?
Women: You decide
Men: Let's have dinner first?
Women: Whatever...
Men: What shall we eat?
Women: Anything..

People who hear of Avatar for the first time, think it is some religious Bollywood film. But watch the movie, and you will know that it is far removed from religion, but is still a lot about belief: a belief that you can make big things happen, a belief that you can bring an end to evil, a belief in who you are, and why you exist.

In 2154, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), an ex-marine, is sent on a mission to a far off planet, Pandora. With no inkling of what to expect, and zero training for the project, he is a complete greenhorn, when compared to the rest of the staff.

The movie capsules his journey, from being a "regular" human, to understanding his full worth and becoming what he was always destined to be.

Without giving away too much of the story, here's a little insight into the film:

Pandora is a beautiful place. Lush green, with dense forests and scary looking creatures, it even has floating mountains, called Hallelujah. Yes, they actually float in thin air! It has huge waterfalls, with so much water that Niagara Falls would want to hide itself in shame.

There are harmless monkey-like creatures, snarling panther-like animals, huge mutated rhinoceros, and more. The forests are more hostile than friendly, and if you think they are scary in the day time, wait for night fall...

The native of Pandora, called Na'vi, are very tall, almost skinny, humanish creatures with blue colored bodies; they look like some sort of giant Smurfs. They have long dark hair, and a nice tail. The Na'vi have pointed ears, like the elves, and are extremely agile.

They are very fit, with flat stomachs; considering that they prance around all day, none of them has an ounce of fat. Their native tongue sounds Asian.

Sam as Jake is terrific. Whether he is in his human form, or the Avatar, he is brilliant as both. As a newcomer on Pandora, he looks at everything with wide-eyed amazement. Almost like a little kid on a rollercoaster ride. But watch the way he grows into a confident leader as the film progresses.

Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, a Na'vi girl, is perfect. Her father is the Chief of the Omaticaya clan. She has immense love and respect for her clan. She is both fierce and tender. A great warrior and a vulnerable lover.

Sigourney Weaver plays Dr Grace Augustine, a scientist. Unlike the U S Army, she doesn't want to wipe out the Na'vi. Nor does she want to mine the mysterious rock that sells for 20 million dollars for a kilo. She wants to understand the Na'vi, figure out the wondrous mysteries of their world.

Sam doesn't appeal to her initially, and so she is not very nice to him. Her delightfully sarcastic dialogues are probably some of the best lines in the film.

Then there is the chief villain, Colonel Miles (Stephen Lang). Tall, strong, with rippling muscles, he is literally heartless. He is the kind of character that makes people want to get up from their seats, tear open the movie screen, get into the film, and kill with their bare hands. And any person that evokes such extreme emotions deserves a pat on the back for his fine acting skills.

Though Pandora looks surreal, it also looks beautiful. Watching the film will give you an out of the world experience. The graphics are simply marvellous. You would never have seen such colors before. Every little detail has been taken care of; whether it is the saliva that is dripping out of a ferocious panther's mouth, or the neon lighting in the forest. Cinematography at its best.

Not to mention the swift action in the movie, and the typical Hollywood style motivational speech at the end.

One thing, do watch out the way "avatar" is pronounced in the film. Will make you roll with laughter in your seats.

Though it is humbling to review a film of such stature, I would like to say it was a fantastic experience. What's better is the fact that the film is out in 3D as well. This review is for the 2-dimensional version though. If this was so amazing, I wonder how much more better it will be in 3D.

My deAR Bud RoSe...........

My love is like a bud rose
The fragrance melts me
But where are you my Dear love
O!!!My dear LOVE
I am waiting for you
The full moon gone
The half-moon gone
But still I am waiting for you
As akin to the bud rose
The thorn are throbbing me to the painful world…
But in that pain, I find happiness I will wait for you
Till I faint from this world.
The throbbing pain of happiness
Sadness is cloth for me
Wrapping it around me
I will wait for you.

De Dana Dan directed by Priyadarshan is a loud film. Each and every character in this film seem to be screaming on top of his or her voice. The film has story that has never been heard before and director Priyadarshan has tried to mix-n-match the entire characters and kept the momentum alive for the next 2.45 hours.

Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) is a personal butler, cook, driver, watchman, gardener to a wealthy female industrialist (Archana Puran Singh) in Singapore. Like any young man, Nitin too, dreams of a better life, but misfortune is his constant companion and his reality is his job under Archana. He desperately wants to become rich and marry the love of his life, Anjali Kakkad (Katrina Kaif), who supports him financially.

Ram Mishra (Suneil Shetty), Nitin's best friend also came to Singapore with the dream of striking it rich, but ended up a courier delivery man. He falls for Manpreet Oberoi (Sameera Reddy), but her high society parents will never approve of marriage, not unless Ram has lots and lots of money. In an attempt to get rich quick and marry them, both Ram and Nitin devise a plan to kidnap Archana's pet possession, her doggy Mulchand. But their kidnapping plan goes awry and leads to many misunderstandings. To add more chaos, Manpreet's wedding preparations to a shady businessman Chaddha's (Paresh Rawal) son begins in the same hotel where Nitin and Ram are hiding after their kidnapping fiasco.

Confusion and misunderstandings multiply ten fold when a contract killer, Kala (Johnny Lever), his underworld don boss Maamu (Asrani), Anjali, Anjali's father (Tinnu Anand), Indian Ambassador (Vikram Gokhale), a bar dancer (Neha Dhupia) and Policeman (Sharat Saxena) too land up in the same hotel. What happens after Nitin accidentally gets locked in Chaddha's hotel room cupboard is what the rest of the film all about.

Acting wise, Akshay Kumar is in top form. Suniel Shetty is supportive. He is timing with Akshay is superb. Paresh Rawal is not so impressive this time. Johny Lever and Rajpal Yadav are brilliant. Shakti Kapoor, Asrani, Tinnu Anand and Sharat Saxena lend good support.
On the whole, De Dana Dan is fair work by Priyadarshan but it can not be compared to Hera Pheri or Phir Hera Pheri. It is not better than those films. Otherwise it is a one time watch movie.

Come to me as a dream
In this moonlit night
Come to me every day;
As a lullaby put me to sleep.

To weave sweet dreams
To share sweetness
Enter my heart,
My love.

In the dusk,
To the end of my waiting,
I hear footsteps.
I see in front of me
Your dazzling face

Moon is smiling in the sky,
Swallows are singing with joy.
At this happy moment,
I soothe your face as a gentle breeze.

Your hair is swaying in the breeze,
Nature is awaken by moonlight.
I make you blush red ,
With thousands of kisses .

The “dream” which ,
blooms every day in my heart .
Come today too in the moonlit night ,
The “ dream” of a disappointment.

Tum Mile
Cast : Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan
Director :Kunal Deshmukh Producer : Genre :Romance Release Date :13-11-2009

Tum Mile was promoted as India’s first disaster film based on the 26 July 2005 deluge but it has more romance than disaster which is disappointing.

Residing in the picturesque Cape Town, Emraan’s character Akshay is a painter-cum-delivery boy who hangs with his best friend, Vik (RJ Mantra) as they struggle to make ends meet. He falls in love with the uber rich Sanjana (Soha) who leaves her not-so-loving boyfriend for him. They start living together in a fancy sea-facing apartment (Soha pays the rent) and she becomes his muse. Emraan gets a new job in Sydney and asks Sanjana to accompany him. She refuses to give up her life in Cape Town for him so they part ways. Fate reunites them on 26 July 2005 and they fight against all odds to save each other.

The biggest setback of Tum Mile is that it focuses more on the done-to-death romance than on the disaster sequences. We have had enough of live-in couples, their joys and woes and love triangles. Also, Emraan and Soha don’t have any real intimacy or chemistry so you don’t root for the couple and Soha is not ‘muse material’.

The film has a non-linear narrative, but you can predict what will happen as the story moves between the flood scenes to their past relationship in Cape Town. The pace is laborious and yawn-inducing. There are ‘haath hi saathi’ jokes, so you can gauge the dialogue is not sparkling or original.

Some scenes are very silly. Does an Indian electrician visit people’s houses in South Africa to check if their meter is working? That is classic Abbas-Mustan and Subhash Ghai kind of cinema! In another scene, Emraan and Soha take refuge in a restaurant during the flood and after having a little conversation, they decide it’s time to leave and go back to the flooded roads. Weren’t they sitting there to be safe? And the key-lost-in-the-water scene is straight out of Titanic.

On the bright side, Cape Town is breathtakingly beautiful and the production values are excellent. The songs, especially Tum Mile and Tu Hi Haqeeqat are crowd-pullers and come as a welcome relief with fantastic videos. Tum Mile is bright and lively while Tu Hi Haqeeqat is romantic and captures Cape Town beautifully.
The flood sequences are the saving grace of Tum Mile. It could have been a much better and gripping film but, alas, it isn’t.

DiGeStING truth.....

I am stupid
I am useless
I am crazy
I am waste
But the most beautiful part is that I know it!

So,
I know I am stupid
I know I am useless
I know I am crazy
I know I am waste
But what I dont understand is how others know it!

So everyone thinks,
I am stupid
I am useless
I am crazy
I am waste
But the truth is I am this and much more!

Movie- Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahni

The movie produced by and directed by Rajkumar Santhosi has Katrina Kaif doing her first full time comedy role. The film revolves around Prem (Ranbir Kapoor) who does nothing with his life and is the President of a local 'not happening' club-the Happy Club. Then comes the Jenny (Katrina Kaif) whom Ranbir falls in love with but his heart breaks when he finds out she already is in love with Rahul (Upen Patel). A typical bollywood love story mixed with comedy is what the movie is all about. The good chemistry between Ranbir and Katrina is one of the plus of this film. The Music by Pritam is commendable. On a whole a movie to be watched if you’re not looking for something serious.
